COVERAGE:
At minimum, the tail tip may be affected.
At maximum, the tail may develop multiple tails from the hip down.
The extra tails are commonly the same size as the original. But may vary in size.
The tail may be evenly split in half. Such as one fluke per tail on the Singers.
Or may create a complete new tail.
The fins, horns, spikes or other special appendages may form a complete set on the second tail.
Ex: The Polar may have a full club for each tail.
