Gods and Deities |
Aquella has a belief system that includes many gods. Aqrion have many belief systems which include the major Deities or Gods, and the minor Deities. All Aqrion know about the major Gods, and worship them to some extent at least. The larger cities often believe in the major Gods almost exclusively, while many smaller communities worship a smaller deity in their local area.
The Major Gods are more astronomical, being the Planet, Sun and Moons.
These are Aquella, Aestus, Proluo, Enule, and Lua. These Gods are often seen visiting the major cities on the day of the Equinox and Solstice. Major celebrations are held worldwide for their visit.

Major Deities:
Aquella, the Earth Mother
Aquella is the Mother of All and is most commonly associated with the water itself. She greatly respects her creations and the planet. Every creature has a strong connection with Aquella. Offerings and prayers to her are fairly common throughout anytime of year. Her large celebration occurs in late Spring. |
Aestus, the Spark of Life
Aestus is the Sun God and the Spark of Life. Without him nothing could survive. He is strong, energetic, and alongside Aquella, he promotes all forms of life. His celebration is held during the Summer Solstice. |
Proluo, the Stormbringer
Proluo is the largest Moon God and embodies the Physical Strength of the planet. He is often associated with strong tides and storms. His celebration is held during the Winter Solstice. |
Lua, the Devoted
Lua is a Moon Goddess and she symbolizes the Emotional World of Aquella. She is most commonly associated with love and spring arriving on the planet. She promotes kindness in others and helps them relieve their anger and frustration with some fun. Her celebration is held during the Spring Equinox. |
Enule, the Dreamwalker
Enule is the smallest Moon Goddess and she symbolizes the knowledge, curiosity and the World of Dreams. She helps relax and destress creatures by helping them find peace. Enule welcomes those who meditate to walk in the Realm of Dreams. Here many crazy things can happen and be seen. Her celebration is held during the Fall Equinox. |
Zurvalix, the Destroyer
Zurvalix is the Old God of the Deep or better known as the God of the Void. He dwells in the deepest nooks of the world and slowly corrupts anything he can get a hold of. He is only worshiped by smaller cults or other Void creatures. He has been silent for many years, until the Abyssal Aqrion began to flee their deep homes to avoid his seeping corruption. He’s still been rather silent, gathering strength in the depths. Some are worried he may attack again soon. |
Minor Deities:
Kalegos, the Lorekeeper
(Mascot) Kalegos is the first Aqrion created by Aquella. His body contains all of the elements. He strived to teach the elements to other dragons. Kalegos was always fascinated with knowledge and has a great desire to learn. Several centuries ago Kalegos opened Aquella's first library, The Archive of Knowledge. He collects all of the knowledge he can and catalogues it here in the archive for all to view. To this day, he still seeks and catalogs knowledge of all kinds. He has a tendency to get caught up his studies. |
Mochi
Mochi promotes awareness and information as well as support about the disabled dragon communities. She is extremely caring and very patient. Anyone is able to come to her for help. Mochi is the protector of the reefs. Mochi helps protect the reef from pests that would otherwise destroy such a fragile ecosystem. Mochi is known to commune with the Major Deities in the sky. At night, she is often seen ferrying special corals to the sky and returning with fancy coins which she shares with everyone around. |
Mala, the Treasure Keeper
Treasure Keeper Mala is a ghostly deity that is elusive and mysterious. With the help of her wisps, they guard the sunken treasures of the oceans, keeping these wonderful treasures a secret. When she finds a soul she deems worthy enough, she will let her wisps help this individual find the treasure. But beware, if she deems one to be unworthy, ho boy, you better watch out! She usually appears closer to the full moons of Aquella. So if you are hunting for one of these wisps, it's best to search then. |
