Arborwing Obambuloterra labentes
|
The Arborwing are tiny gliding dragons are often dubbed faerie dragons. They are tiny, extremely agile little dragons with hollow bones, making them very lightweight but also more fragile than standard dragons. The wing-like sails on their appendages are highly flexible and can be flexed open to imitate wings. With these small wings, they are capable of short bursts of flight and ample gliding time between trees.
Arborwings lead a primarily arboreal life. They do everything on the trees, eat, sleep, play, reproduce, you name it. On occasion, they may frequent the ground to gather seeds. Ground foraging is always done as a group activity with at least two dragons keeping watch for predators.
They are social yet shy dragons. Finding an Arborwing can be tricky but are often found near firefly colonies where they enjoy each other's company.
